Diva's Guide To Sports: Best Sports Bars To Watch The Tourney in Columbus, OH

Diva's Guide To Sports is a new weekly column for TSD Magaazine. It will consist of insight, humor, and helpful tools for women who love sports.

I missed last week but I'm back to give some local love to female sports fans in Columbus, Ohio. Many of you are getting ready for the NCAA tourney and need a place to watch all of the games. Of course there is the option of staying at home or going to a friend's place but if you do venture outside, here are 5 places that I recommend going. I'm sure there are more and if you recommend others please comment on them below.

(Note: This is not a least of where to find men. This is a list of where to find a great place to watch a great game. If you find a man while at one of these places, good for you.)

1. Eddie George's Grille 27. Located in the South Campus Gateway, this sports bar is a great place to watch the tourney. Surrounded by TV's and a great atmosphere, anywhere you sit. If I do decide to leave my apartment since I will be home all week (Yay!), this is the one I will be going too. Get there early though.
2. Fitzgerald's Sports Tavern. This place is not on my list because I used to work here. I can't believe I just admitted that. Anyway, I haven't been back here in a while and the food, I hear, isn't as good as it was a few years ago. But none of that matters. They have 8 projectors and at least 30 TV's surrounding the walls. You will not be able to complain about not being able to see. Trust that the pull down screens are worth checking out. And there is free Wi-Fi. Don't forget your laptop.
3. Buffalo Wild Wings. A new location opened on the Ohio State campus last year. If everyone on South Campus is going to Eddie George's, everyone on North Campus is here. Obviously the wings are great and have I expressed how much I love being surrounded by TV's?
4. Winking Lizard. Beer lovers are encouraged to visit. While you are here watching the games don't forget to look at the beer selection. The many many many beers that they have. If you want, you can plop down $10 and join the beer tour. 100 beers are on the tour. Just don't get too crazy that you forget to watch the games.
5. The Dub Pub. A sports diva is not intimidated by other attractive women. And if you decide to come here you better not be. This bar was named the best sports bar in Ohio by ESPN2's Cold Pizza and the best in Central Ohio by the Columbus Dispatch and Columbus Alive. I've been here and like others on this list better but it really is a good place to watch a game. Also has Free W-Fi.
